This is the first time I can recall a post about a current, active non-Dodger player. Might Pedro Astacio have a special place in Jon's baseball heart?

Jon likes Pedro Astacio like I like garlic.

And I really like garlic.

I'll admit that that was a fantastic play by Kent

That's all the incentive I need to go buy a half gallon of Pistachio I/C to nibble on while I watch the game.

There was always something really intimidating about the way Pedro dangled his arm when he was leaning in to look at the catcher. Like a jungle snake sleeping in a tree.

why the heck can't Vin say "Amezaga" right?

Also, note to EVERY commentator: it's "En-car-nah-see-own". Not that difficult.

Sweet game at the Trop tonight, not only did Doc Halladay win his MLB-leading 15th and BJ made an "all time Devil Rays web gem!!", but I also got to pet some real actual rays in the new tank!! Pix tomorrow or Thurs, once I am back up north...

7 I can at least understand why Vin says "En-CAR-nuh-see-OWN".

I cannot fathom how Steiner thinks its "En-cuh-NAR-see-own".

Good for Pedro. Not only are the Dodgers doing well, some ex-Dodgers are doing well too. Milton Bradley in Oakland, Piazza has had a better year than I thought he would, Duaner Sanchez before he got hurt did a good job for the Mets.

And Bob, how many garlic fries did you get at Safeco at the Rockies/Mariners game?
