The Dodgers plan to recall Scott Elbert on Friday, according to Tony Jackson of the Daily News.
Update: Clayton Kershaw will be optioned to Las Vegas to make room for Elbert, but return after September 1, in time to make his next scheduled start, according to Diamond Leung of the Press-Enterprise.

Really, only Ethier and Kemp are having great years, both setting career high's offensively.
Everyone else is having a down year.
On the pitching end, Billingsley and that's it. Oh and Kuo coming out of the bullpen has been spectacular, along with Broxton.
we still have a few more games left, plus, we have 6 (6!) with the snakes.
3-10.
10-10.
10-17.
oshea2002 looking like Dionne Warwick.
Elbert coming up.
playoffs!?!?! lolz.
This is clearly the fault of the Two Andrews.
Who can possibly win the weekend series?

At least the Dodgers helped out in this regard.
Fail!
Is 7000 tennessee fans a sea of Orange?
(Thats the UCLA estimate)
And it would be 3,000 more then saw Petyon Mannin play there a decade ago. If I remember correctly UCLA recruited fine despite the crowd size after that. Of course the 20 game win streak helped.
I will go back to lurking but in my opinion the Dodger negativity should not be diluted with UCLA negativity.
Brian Dohn said he expects it to be 40% Tennessee.
