Go Dodgers!
A) 0-10 is a pretty unique accomplishment
B) the Dodgers season is like a loved one with a long lingering illness. When they mercifully pass its a relief.
C) Sayonara Ned (fingers crossed)
The battle of the negatives. - Vin
Vin sounds great tonight and looking mighty spry too.
Go Dodgers!
vr, Xei
Totally, he sounds energized for this series.
Despite my dashed hopes I'll root for the Dodgers down to game 162 if that's all there is.
In very large letters. Maybe three feet high. I'm thinking of devoting one whole side of the obelisk to the University of Arizona. There could be a bas relief of a drunken Wildcat football fan storming the field after UofA beats New Mexico State 22-21 to clinch a 4-8 season.
Take that, Nate.
I don't have a dog in the UA fight so bash on. Real football will be played tomorrow in certain Southeastern Conference locations.
You're in Auburn fan? When is the West Virginia game, next week?
Another multi hit - no run inning.
Somebody doublecheck my ridiculous scenario for the Nats staying alive in the NL East on The Griddle.
Ned coletti's Dodgers- 0
And man, there is nobody on here tonight. shows what a week will do.

I think you're supposed to be thinking of England.
'course, he hasn't scored yet.
Put the ball in the air.
Sincerely yours,
HK
Now: Bison.
We haven't had that one in a while.
Wow, he is on fire with Jax!
No
IF:
(1) The team Bob is rooting for is ahead; and
(2) Bob is not in California; and
(3) It's time for Bob to go to bed; then
(4) The game shall be declared over by acclamation.

and again, no.
Perhaps a lawsuit is in order.
And he still seems like a good guy. I wish him every happiness in retirement.
Which needs to begin, like, right now.
Lol. Thanks for making me chuckle.
What did Vin say? I'm stuck w/ the D-Back homers.
"He's still there. BIG MAN."
After the batter is out and Melvin is tossed... "And if that fan isn't kicked out, that's the biggest tragedy of all."
Peewee Young homered for the third game in a row.
And they did kick the guy out.
...and justice prevails!
Well, seeing the debut of Scott Elbert almost makes me excited about baseball again. Almost.
154 But was it a quantum of solace, Vin?
Back to lurking on GameDay.
Also, Manny assumed a batting stance at 2nd to make sure he got the okay to pick up his batting helmet that flew off during 1st and 2nd.
And Blake I'm not Casey DeWitt in the game.
And wow, DeWitt's shows some foul power.
And kind of like it.
Whatever happens today it's fun to see fresh young blood helping in this game.
Er... fresh young blood... sounds like a Hammer Horror movie.
You know I love ya, big guy. So it's with love -- love, I tell ya, that I say this.
FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS HOLY, STOP GROUNDING INTO DOUBLE PLAYS. YER KILLING ME, YER KILLING MRS. KAVULA, AND YER KILLING YOUNG SPAWN OF KAVULA.
Hugs and kisses,
Humma
Seriously, that really sucks.
And using Chan Ho Park in high leverage situations is a mistake this late in the year.
Mickey Vernon hit into 183.
Mark Grace hit into 191.
So far this year, before today, Loney had 35.
In other news, Nomar flubs his second probable double play.
And then cry.
When's Hu coming back?
When's the hurting going to stop?
If this were an audio blog, that would be quite the comment.
245 I LOLed in this time of sadness, so thanks for that.
It's time for this team to stand up for change! EIGHT IS ENOUGH!
"Happy Trails to you until we meet again
Happy trails to you keep smilin' until then
Sayonara season!
Is that even possible? It seems like Ned is the worst GM (not just Dodger GM) I have seen seen since "the Sheriff". I don't know if that's an exaggeration. I've never seen so many ineffective players on the same team, offensively and defensively.
My Wii Baseball game is going as badly as the Dodger game and now my arm hurts. Off to bed.
With his GIDP tonight, Loney has 22 on the season.
Smaller than lunch with Verne Troyer?
I think it will be a close game. Depends on whether the Broncos run defense is as improved as I think it is. If not they could be in for a long night. Could be a high scoring game in fact.
Once outside the closet, no man can see his own hat. The first man looks at the other two, thinks, and says, "I cannot tell what color my hat is." The second man hears this, looks at the other two, and says, "I cannot tell what color my hat is either." The third man is blind. The blind man says, "Well, I know what color my hat is." What color is his hat?
There are some positives from this season so far.
Both franchises have similar problems, Al won't die, and Bowlen won't move on from Shanahan, or at least completely strip him of any personnel say.
Will Torre retire?
284 - Indeed, Shanny needs less personnel power, though at least he's kinda figured things out as far as shying away from certain disastrous free agent signings. I like this team's makeup better than the last few years, but we'll see. Raiders definitely dodge a big one with Marshall out for that one game. Yeah, Raiders should have good running game this year, and WR's are a concern. I predict 9-7 for Denver and 7-9 for Oakland.
And I'm really outta here. Have a good weekend all!
vr, Xei
Rudy is an interesting parallel.
Deposed champion - health not 100% - new team performs well below expectations after much fanfare.
Arizona: 10 hits, 13 TB, 6 BB, 9 runs
This is still August.
We play the D-Backs 5 more times.
This is the NL West.
Will they ever get a hit with RISP again?
Sheesh.
Yeah, hope the Dodgers can win one tomorrow and get this monkey off their back. Eight in a row!
I'll take Bills and Kershaw's starts, Elbert's and JMac's relief appearences, and all at bats by our young guys in joy, learn to keep score with Timmerman-like precision, and note the interesting things--but this is a 'lost' team to me now.
I really do think the future looks bright baring a total NedCo overhaul, and I'm not as sour on McCourt as others, so I am optimistic about years to come. Then again, I have been for a long time, and, well...
Colts season starts soon though! Hurray.
What frustrates me is that veterans are useful precisely to avoid stretches like this. What's the point of all the PVLs on this team if they can't get hits with men on base or keep the roster from feeling like they're snakebitten?
I said it earlier and reiterate it now - it's time to blow this team up. Hopefully Kim Ng or Logan White have a more effective vision for the direction this team should be heading.
