Places you won't have to convince anyone to put the game on:
The three Barney's Beanery restaurants are hosting Dodger viewing parties, with Ken Landreaux appearing in West Hollywood, Bobby Castillo in Pasadena and Rudy Law in Pasadena. Dodger Dogs will be sold for $2 each.
Rush Street on Washington Boulevard in Culver City will also have a baseball-themed day with food and drink specials.
There is also the issue about the delay which can be annoying.
Since you don't have to pay to bring radio into your commercial location, its more of an hassle to regulate.
I hope so.
My guess is no,at least not more than a couple of minutes. A rerun of Charmed on TNT might have to get bumped.
That would be awesome.
Ryan Dempster has never made a playoff start.
I love Claim Jumpers. Just so much damn food. I go into a food coma every time I go.
They enjoy that better than "Jeeves" or "Garson".
A couple of months ago, I was in the Red Robin bar in Ventura. There were at least 10 TV's throughout the restaurant. All but one of them was showing the Olympics. The other one had a Minnesota-Baltimore football game.
The Angels and the Dodgers had games at that time.
I know it's Ventura, but come on.
What about Portland and/or Seattle? Anyone?
You can drive down to SF and hang at underdog's apartment.
I can no longer remember if I liked the beer there or not. I do remember there was one really attractive waitress.
Is it because the 50-year grudge hasn't healed yet?
SportsNation Jim Callis: I don't think he'll be a "force," a la K-Rod in 2002, but McDonald can be a useful middle reliever. If Lowe departs, McDonald will get the opportunity to crack the rotation. He won't replace Lowe's production right away but he could be a No. 3 starter in time.

I hear you, Branch Rickey, but you can bet every place in LA with two chairs and a bartender will have the Lakers Playoff games when they happen.
It's definitely just a Dodger thing.
If anyone is, we should make it a very small DT gathering. Look for me, I'll be the one in the Dodgers gear.
