Sons, Sons, Sons, Here They Come

by Jon Weisman

Sons of Steve Garvey has been going for a little while now, and I want to recommend it to you for the following reasons:

  • It's Dodger-centric but not Dodger-obsessed.

  • It's intelligent but not patronizing.

  • It's clever in kind of a Deadspin way.

  • It's prolific - seems like there's always something new here.

Check it out and see for yourself.

There goes my idea of having a long discussion of "For Better or For Worse" on The Griddle.

The post on the guy and his Dodger hat was a good laugh. Probally he has too much time on his hands though...

Thanks for the publicity, Jon. We are always inspired by Dodger Thoughts (and its worldly and erudite band of commenters), but we have enjoyed the journey finding our own "voice."

    For better, or for worse.

But man, this is tiring--and we have a team! Thanks for keeping the bar so high, and please stop by any time...

Not patronizing? We'll get to work on that right away.

    Seriously, much appreciated.
