Forget the Reggie's of the world how about a Fernando & me from Jon??
http://www.beloblog.com/Pe_Blogs/baseball/dodgers/
I threw batteries at him at Candlestick Park, he punched me in the face.
Ashby had a throat like a casaba melon.
I've heard that said about a certain politcal pundit....
What one-time (and very brief) DT favorite holds the single-season home run record at ASU?
BTW, a big thank you to whoever recommended AVG anti-virus earlier. It was able to get rid of whatever had been ailing my IE which had eluded all other anti-virus software I had used before (admittedly it was an out-of-date Norton from 2005).
Let's see if the Dodgers' offence is any better than their offense
I agree, if Tsao can come back we can enjoy having Bills as a starter even more (plus, lest we forget, there are guys like Houlton, Hull and pleaseplease... Meloan! to bolster the bullpen - and I think any of them would be better than Tomrickson.)
Anyway, hurrah to that news at least.
That was a Nomar-special!
How about Darren Dreifort? No? Carlos Perez, then?
Wowsa. Offense or offence, I'll take this!
Now here's Mr. Canada.
Dodgers are 12-4 in games started by Marlon since they acquired him.
Kudos to the team for making McGowan throw 40 pitches in the first.
Gameday shows the pitch going right down Broadway.
When the irresistible force that is Gameday meets the immovable object that is Rick Monday...

Huh?
he can bring it, i saw him live at Dodger Stadium
That is all.

Nomar comes through in the clutch! Well, garsh.
Mr. Risp.
Going back to that Alex Belth post, one line about Reggie really struck me:
"He turned down bigger offers from the Expos and the Padres and signed."
It's hard for me to even imagine a time when any player would have to turn down bigger offers from anyone, let alone the Expos and Padres, in order to sign with the Yankees.
vr, Xei
Yes.
Also, save some runs for the next few days.
Penny has enough.

They just showed Russell Martin Sr. in the crowd. Proud and happy.
His walk in the first inning was a good sign as well since he hadn't been walking much lately either.
So long McGowan.
It looks like an interstate number.

/just kidding.

Bc Juan Pierre still sucks.
I said I hoped he struck out in every at bat in the previous thread. So that kind of counts.
Rick Monday must have narrated the Monsanto "Better living through chemistry" ride @ Disneyland.
-Hell, he's probably living it.
